Default Cabriolet 68B wood subframe and possibly boatail speedster.

Hello
There's not very much left of my 1930 cabriolet subframe, i have the two wood channels who can be used as templates but only bits of the siderails.

Someone can provide me the drawing of these parts? And i dream to build a boatail speedster and have the cowl of a roadster to start. I can make two cabriolet subframe and use one for the speedster.

Best regards.

The prints are available at the Benson Library. The Assy. drawings would be A-70054-* and 70055-*. You would then need to list all of the component pieces and pull the prints on those. I will tell you though, they are very difficult to read because it lists everything by sweeps and radii.

I looked up those prints, they are fantastic! I guess im geeky that way in I love technical drawings. It makes me want to get in the shop and start milling stuff out just because.

the 2 sills sell for around 1300. at Snyders or Cubel

I cut a couple of them out and have sold them to fellow cab owners.

they are not a big deal if you have a template.
