Wrong choke cable for '32 BB
Howdy boys, well damn, it appears I have the wrong choke cable for this '32 BB I've been working on for a couple years, way too long I might add! The cable I have is 35 3/8-1/2" long, measuring the entire length, knob included. It appears to be about 1" to 1- 1/8" or so too long. What have I got it, and where might I find the correct one? I could cut it down, but I hate to do that if there is someone out there who needs this one. Thanks guys!

Re: Wrong choke cable for '32 BB
What you have is the passenger car version, B-9700, which measures 34 1/4" long (excluding the knob). What you need is BB-9700, which measures 32 3/4" (without the knob. That was used on all '32 commercial vehicles, except the sedan delivery, and all big trucks.

Re: Wrong choke cable for '32 BB
Thanks David, figured it might be for a car. Now I guess it's up for sale, that is if I can find one for the truck. You're a fine young man!

Check with Michael Driskell at thirdgenauto.com. He may have one available.
