'32 Headlight bucket repair
Howdy boys, looking for a vendor who has parts to repair my '32 BB headlights. I need the mounting bracket, lens cover latch, and wire socket. CW Moss is "sold out". Can't find any on some of the other major vendors. Thanks guys!

Re: '32 Headlight bucket repair
The rim latch parts are carryover Model A items and available at most Model A parts dealers as well as at asome V8 part supplier such as thirdgenauto.com.
You should try and figure out how to save your original sockets as the word is that the reproductions were/are junk. By "mounting bracket" do you mean the threaded stud that is attached inside the lamp housing? If so, I don't think that they have ever been reproduced. |

Re: '32 Headlight bucket repair
Do you have ant socket parts from your headlights like the orig sockets? they can be rewired. Yes the repro sockets are junk. The metal thickness is a hair thinner and the socket is not round as a result the bulb is not tightly secured in the socket and wiggles then shorts out. Fred at Southside might have some NOS.For the bracket ,you need to find a doner headlight. I do have a spare from a 33-34 truck headlight bucket but not sure if it interchanges.
