Re: New V8 Owner, 1936 Tudor Touring Deluxe
Ketron, welcome to the Fordbarn! That is a very nice '36 Ford Deluxe Tudor Touring Sedan! It does my heart good to see someone your age come along and rescue this nice Early Ford V-8. There are plenty of us here just waiting to help you out on this one.

Thanks for the comments. The paint is the original paint. The green pin stripe was faded and touched up 2 years ago upon removal from storage. I too feel the cars should take little work to get roadworthy again. Upon delivery to my house, I did take the car around the block on two occasions to see where I was mechanically. Car needs work before it hits the road in a safe and reliable way. Plenty of questions and updates to come! Jon |

Thank you. I purchased the book you mentioned last week and have been reading daily. I am about half way thru the book. Great information regarding 1935/1936 year Ford. Looking forward to learning more. Thanks, Jon |

Thank you for your comments. The club's 35-36 reading has been coming along well. Learning more every day with this great book. I would like to speak to Don once I get a better grasp on this car. Would be very neat to have a discussion with him regarding the 1936 year. I hope to attend several of the clubs meets once the virus subsides. Jon |

Thank you. A trip to the Early Ford V-8 Foundation in Auburn IN is indeed on my list of things to do. I want to take the trip in this car to that museum, would be a great tribute to the car. I have heard the collection of 1936 Fords there are fabulous. Jon |

slowforty, B-O-B, petehoovie, KiWinUS, RKS.PA, thank you for the welcome and comments.
KiWinUS, I am not a farmer, although I did purchase this car within a farming community north of Columbus/Dayton OH. It was beautiful country, this old Ford fit in perfect within that little community. Jon |

Rick Gibbs, JSeery, deuce5wndw, 40ford, JM 35 Sedan, and tubman thanks for the comments. I plan to get this car on the road once again keeping the servicing to the cars originality as much as possible.

Re: New V8 Owner, 1936 Tudor Touring Deluxe
Welcome.....Great Car!!!......but I want to congratulate the previous owner on finding someone who feels like you do about preserving that car as it is. He obviously cared very much about that car and is fortunate to find someone with your enthusiasm!......Mark
