Starter Drive - Do they make repair sleeves?
I'm rebuilding an A starter and was going to install the Bendix when I noticed the notched piece on the end of the drive is missing. Now for a Model T, they make a starter drive repair sleeve that you install on the end of the gear drive with a punch or chisel.
Is a larger diameter cousin of this made for the Model A? If so, any leads as to where to find would be appreciated. Last edited by tmiller6; 02-13-2011 at 05:24 PM. Reason: misspelled |
