Default 36 ford fog lights

I am trying to add on the correct accessories to my 36 ford convertible sedan
What is the correct size for the fog lights?
What is the correct color for the light lens Amber or clear?
Was the light bucket painted or chrome plated?
What was the name brand of the lights?
Is their a reproduction and if they Are who sells them?

I know this is a lot of info but sure would help me identify the correct light, thank so much for your help. I know some of you have purchased the correct light and may have an extra light for sell. This would make a good christmas present.

If you don't already have one you should get a copy of the 1935-36 book from the Early Ford V8 Club, https://shop.efv8.org/collections/fo...book-softbound. Your answer is probably in there. If it doesn't answer your current question there still is a lot of other valuable information you can use. I would offer to look for you but I only read a friends book several years ago and don't have a copy. I have a '32 and the Early Ford V8 Clubs book that goes with it.

According to the 35-36 book, fog lights were not offered as a Ford accessory in 1936. If I recall correctly, they were offered in 1937.

I like fog lights and I bought a pair of Appleton after market fog lights for my 36 Ford 5W Coupe.

Ford did not offer fog lights as an accessory until 1937. Here is what they looked like. Fog lights were amber. Ford lights were made by Unity and were chrome. They were 7" in diameter.

In addition to Don's information I have used the KD 866 fog lamps on early Fords. Their shape is very similar to the Unity light. but the sealed beam unit is smaller. I've converted them to be used as turn signals.
