Default Engine number.. Again!

My Model A has *CAA 78016* stamped on the block. What does that tell me please? cheers

Thanks, Its in a New Zealand 1928 open cab pickup. They came from Canada. would that be the correct engine? Is the AA engine the same as the smaller pickups/passenger vehicles? Hey ,I'm just a begineer on these "A''s!

The AA indicated there was a truck transmission or truck clutch attached to the engine. The engine was the same in either case.

What about 1928 AA trucks that came with the three speed car type transmission , Did they not have the AA prefix to the engine number ?
