Myturn signals on my 56 fairlane will not cancel after turning. the cam and spring seem to be in place is there any upgrades to these units. I have seen some advertised that look different than the one i have?

Some of those had a canceling tab on them and they break off with age. Look at a picture of a new one and compare it to yours. I've seen the tab fractured and still in place but it wouldn't cancel.

New ones often look a little different than the originals. They're fairly inexpensive.
