My 56 ford turn signals would not cancel after turning. I took the steering wheel off and the cancelling cam was missing. Bought a new one from Mac`s. Not sure how to position on the steering wheel it seems to just snap on the collar on the wheel. How is it supposed to be located?

Not sure on 56 but on later the two bumps on the ring were centered over were the signal lever comes out, or 9 o'clock. With the steering wheel straight ahead.
