Re: Antique car and parts auction Oct 27-29 Lynchburg Va.
The one that surprised me was the Airstream camper. I know they bring big $$ but $155,000? After bidders fees and sales tax it would have been about 185k. I thought some of the A's went for a not bad price though.

The Auction was 1rst class all the way! I went back yesterday to pick-up the Cushman and the crew were excellent in helping. Thursday afternoon we went to secure some items on the 31 Service truck and the 31 Pickup. ( Bringing them to Mathews va. On Tues)
We noticed a door open on another building....looked inside and there was the Pop corn wagon, and some real nice cars from the Teens and 20s. Another auction is going to be held in February. |

Glad you liked it Wick! I just couldn't get past what I considered excess fees they had. The couple of cars I watched was priced ok but I hated to add the surcharges to them. Oh well, I'll find me a car or two somewhere.
