Changing from early brake drums to late drums
What needs to be changed when switching from early (AR) front brake drums to the later style? Wheel, brake drum/hub assembly, and backing plate is what I see that need to be changed, looks like bearings and races are the same. Is that it or am i missing something? It looks like these will fit with the early spindle correct?

Re: Changing from early brake drums to late drums
It looks like the grease baffles are different. The new hub does not fit inside the old style grease baffle, it doesn't allow the drum/hub to go all the way on. The newer style must have a larger inside diameter. Probably wouldn't need to change the backing plate only the baffle?

What are you going to do with your early wheels?
