Default car transportation

Looking to transport a car from Northern California to northern Michigan. Has anyone had a personal experience with any transport company that you could share or recommend (either bad or good personal experience)
Your time is appreciated. Thanks, Glen

If you are familiar with the Hamb, there are 3 QUALITY transporters in the Hamb O Dex section BenD, Racinman Rick & Myself. This section allows you to see Hundreds of references from customers that have used all of our services in the past. I personally do not go across the northern passes this time of year, but you might try Ben or Rick. Whomever you choose, make sure they provide their full name & do your research.

This was just my experience with transporters. BEWARE!! I've never seen such a concentration of shady characters outside of Wall Street.
I was fortunate enough to find Kathy Wells from Southern Belles Auto Shipping LLC. They are based out of Missouri. I had an A transported by enclosed trailer from Florida to MN. There was no B.S. involved. They did everything as promised on time...pick up, keeping me informed enroute and delivery. Of course, everyones experience is different but I would use them again.

I had my A transported across country (new hampshire to oregon) in an enclosed trailer. I was quoted from $2k- $4k!! I first checked out the ads in Hemmings and contacted two or three companies to learn many of them are only brokers! The guy that quoted $4k owned his own hauler but was booked out 4-5 months with concour clients. Finally, I by chance met a gentleman at the Portland Swapmeet who gave me the number of a company that owned new state of the art haulers, extremely professional service, and I was allowed to start and drive the car off the back ramp. I am a perfectionist and could not find a single detail to pick them apart. Price: $2,300.00 I was so happy with the transport, I tipped the driver a $100 and he looked at me like I was crazy. I will find their name and no. if your interested.

This guy is on one of the Model T forums and seems to be pretty popular with those guys.
I think he is located in northern CA.

Intercity Lines transported my Sunbeam Alpine from Albany NY to Bloomington IL last year. "door to door" transport in an enclosed trailer was $1200. They covered the car with a soft cover and plastic to keep it clean and dry in the trailer. I thought they were very good.

Thank You Paul ...

Speak of the Devil ....

Recently I dropped this 1971 Charger R/T 440 4 speed beauty to Paul
in Livermore, CA - my second Charger to him in (6) years.

Then I dropped this 1926 Model T documented one owner at the Port Of Long Beach for shipment to Australia.

Since 2008 on the HAMB and a HAMB Alliance Member every year.

Since 2010 on Ford Barn when Ryan took it over - before that I ran
a box ad for years at the top of both Ford Barn & Chevy Barn with Shelly.

I have hauled several cars for the MTFCA Museum in Richmond, IN as well as the GM Heritage Museum over the years ....

To do that - you must be insured

Right now I am visiting family over Christmas but I have space for
a vehicle from Phoenix, AZ east along the I-40 or I-10 corridor to Atlanta, & Macon, GA.
