Default Humour me. More video offerings from Mart.

Hopefully could be argued as on topic depending on what you do.

Three new videos from Mart.

For those who do fabrication and metalwork, you may have a generic 4x6 bandsaw. I spent a bit of time getting mine working better and put up a couple of videos on youtube. Check them out.
Part1: https://youtu.be/bhji-08s95U
Part2: https://youtu.be/xnBdf3feXC4

We all like patinated chrome, right? I had to clean up some chrome that had surface rust staining, and it is surprisingly easy. This is my preferred method. I did the video but after posting it I found there are loads of them on youtube. So it may not be new news to you, but it might be to some.
Rusty Chrome.. try this:

Making these videos is a new sideline to my hobby so any constructive criticism is welcome.

Thanks for looking.

Mart.

Mart, interesting to see the aluminum foil worked on your rusty bumper. I did not have much luck with it on the 52 Merc but then I did not add the coke. Too cold in the shop at the time and I guess it might have froze to the bumper. I had better luck with steel wool and Turtle Rubbing Compound. Or when it was too cold for that, just plain old diesel fuel.

I tried the aluminum foil trick on some chromed 1934 brake pedals and it scratched the chrome that was shiny pretty badly.
