Default Folding the convertible top on 46 - 48

When I fold the power convertible top down on my 47 it does not seem to go down far enough to be able to put the top boot on. Is there an instruction that shows how it should be done as it may be something minor that I am doing wrong. I am allowing the top material to go in with the top irons , not sure if I should be pulling it away from the top irons so that they will come down further in the car top cavity.

I always pull the material out of the top irons before its completely folded. Never done it the other way so I don't know if it helps.
