Bubbas phone contact?
As of today we are removing our multiline phone system and will no longer have a shop phone. All orders are stopped for the next couple months . Our goal is to have the shop moved to a new location and be back August 1st 2017.
If you have a current order every effort will be to fill and ship that order as soon as possible. We will do the best we can to answer our [email protected] email every day . Also all web sye email will be answered each day as well. www.bubbasignition.com Thanks for working with us thru this time... |

I sort of wish you had mentioned this little glitch to me last week when I ordered a distributor and sent the money on paypal. I have already been looking for the ups truck in the afternoons.

This wont be a problem for the crab and helmet units . They are done entirely in house and we will get them ALL caught up over the next couple weeks etc... Its the world famous chevrolet conversions that cause the back log waiting on parts , cores and machining...and my right hand part time dude Terry is home pretty sick........ You will be fine........ Re: Bubbas phone contact?
thank you Jim.... Yet another reason to stay old school. I have never heard anything bad about these distributors, other than their location. It's pretty obvious to anyone who holds one in his hands and studies it that it is a well engineered and well made mechanical devise.

Re: Bubbas phone contact?
Just a daily update on our progress. We have worked the last couple days cleaning out the blue storage building for the trash/swap meet etc.
Swap meet is at the Franklin Indiana Swap meet and we have a large booth in Scott Hall. Its pretty hot in there today but we got it all done and hired a guy to haul the trash out for us . It was a pretty big pile...... Tomorrow i will work on customers stuff all day and get some done and shipped.. Workin !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Re: Bubbas phone contact?
What's the hot ticket core for these conversions? Early dual point or later plain Jane window style?

Re: Bubbas phone contact?
Thanks. I have a couple of the window type that are being used in other applications. I also have a pair of the earlier units with dual points and the centrifugal is down under the breaker plate. The design looks like it's from the Civil War (quoting Bruce Lancaster.) I put this one together about 55 years ago and it's never been on an engine.

Re: Bubbas phone contact?
A thursday up date on our move and progress on orders...
The Franklin swap meet was good even with a terrible rain or two. We were inside and it gave me a good chance to sell off some stuff i didnt wish to move. Today Wally "grumpys on the board" came in to help me with the backlog and got almost all the helmet orders knocked out. I will ups ship those tomorrow. I did crabs monday and tuesday and am working on the chevy conversions right now. Looks like 46 orders on the computer and we have quit taking any more until Aug 1st.... |

Its another friday, June 2nd, My three part time guys ( Terry , Walt and Bill) have jumped in the pile and we are getting some stuff done!
Most crab and helmet orders are completed, got another 6 chevrolet conversions done yesterday, will ups them today. Thanks for your cooperation! Only a couple have canceled their orders. Our annual Spam A Rama cookout and car show is next friday evening and the next week Two Men and a Truck moves the big stuff out of here.... |
