Default Flatheads, ale-8-and moon pies...

Mail man just dropped off a few boxes with some distributor orders in them and a box of moon pies with 6 ale-8 drinks in it.
Wow what a bribe .
Ale 8 is a ky drink bottled in winchester ky and moon pies are used to slow down speech here in indiana!!!

Thanks guys for the refreshments !!!!!

I LEFT TENNESSEE IN THE 60S DRIVING A OLD FORD . WE THOUGHT THE HIGHWAY NUMBERS WAS THE SPEEDLIMIT. SO WE DROVE 40 SPEEDED UP A LITTLE WHEN WE HIT HWY 90 AND OUR FORD BLEW UP WHEN WE HIT 465 AROUND INDIANAPOLIS . BEEN HERE EVER SINCE.
COULDNT HAVE MADE IT WITHOUT SOME ALE8 AND MOONPIES.......

Sure wish I had a talent that would produce bribes like that.

Try a pack of Planter's peanuts in the Ale-8; works well with Co-Cola down here

What I miss is the catfish and hushpuppy meals you could buy at road side houses near the river.

Only thing better than Moon Pies are fried peach pies at the Varsity in Hotlanta...

When we were in China about 10 years ago, picking up our newest granddaughter, we were about to starve. We were walking through an equivalent to Wal-Mart store and spotted some Moon Pies, disguised as Orion Pies. Eureka, Moon Pies. That's about all we ate for several days. Can't last very long on fish heads and rice.
