Default Cabriolet 1935 1936 convertible top to side window seals

Assembling a 36 Cabriolet, need the seals between side windows and convertible top.

I know 68-740928 and 68-740929 is the rubber seal between the front edge of each side window and the windshield header (fits into a stainless channel on the header).

I don't understand if rubber seals are also required between upper/rear edges of each side window and the top. Parts houses list 18-45983 sold in 30" lengths for the rubber seal between top and side windows, they list 3 types (standard, "Drake" and hollow). But based on earlier Ford Barn threads, I am wondering if no rubber seal is the correct answer for this area (covered with a fabric flap from the top material).

thanks,

Ken

No seal at the top of the window. The convertible top has a flap that the window rolls up against. I completed a 35 cabriolet several months ago.

When we disassembled this car the following part was located as shown by green arrow in this photo - was attached to the original top in this location. The channel in the photo is shorter than the similar vertical stainless channels attached to the windshield frame. I think a rubber seal might go into this rear channel but not sure?

thanks,

Ken
