Default borg warner overdrive

i installed a b w overdrive in my 31 pu. i have two questions...
!. can someone post a picture of how they rigged the cable where it operates the shift lever. if i pull out my handle it wants to buck and not push back in.
2. i want to put a safety switch on the tranny top to keep from engaging o d while in reverse. i have an article by some one who did this but can't find a suitable switch for the job and no part number is given.

I just installed one a month or so back. Will try to get a picture or 2. I don't understand why you would have trouble with the cable.
If you have the governor hooked up, you don't need a safety switch.

It sounds like you need a bracket to hold the cable jacket at the OD end.

when building my o d i made the 1" spacer/ adapter out of aluminum and just big enough to do the job. i anchored the cable housing to this using a clamp like used on lawnmower throttles. my cable was out of alignment with the lever on the o d. i made thick spacer to move the cable out and a straighter shot to the lever. i hope that is going to help, but would to see a photo of how others have don theirs.
