Default Re: dist. wire-lower plate

When I fit a new lower plate wire I make a complete turn so it will never fail from flexing .I have had quite a few where the wire is on its last strand before failing There is plenty of room in the body to do this . Years ago I worked in Brazil offshore the ROV umbilical went down and was replaced . I retrieved the old one put it in a suitcase and brought it home . I now have several hundred feet of most excellent USA suitable gauge wire in any colour I choose !!! Designed to be waterproof to 1000+ feet .

John in GOOD LORD it has stopped raining Suffolk County England .
