So the question still remains, Does "anyone" have the instructions on how to use this tool? I believe that Bratton's HAD the instructions on their website when the tool was available from them. Alas not any longer.
For those who are interested, I do have one of these tools but I purchased it so others in our club could use it when needed.... Of course I paid the ~$60 for it even though I knew that I would not need it often.

I'll scan them for you this morning . They are out in the garage with the rest of my "important" papers.

I will be interested in the instructions as well. I have the tool but have never used it.

This tool is easy enough to make, but is there really a demand for this tool? I have one that I had gotten from someplace and it works as described but so did the tired and true bending the tabs method. If I remember at the time this toll was something like $50 wasn't it?

Hub cap too 2.jpgThe hub cap tool does work well, there is a learning curve. If I remember the directions were vague. Mine is slightly modified, I spaced it out with a piece of aluminum stock to make it work better. Lightly clamp it in a vice with a piece of rubber, the tabs need to be bent out at a 45° angle with a pair of needle nose pliers. Tap back gently with a small ball peen hammer. Hope this helps.
