Default 1940 ford STD belt line question

can some one please tell me the size of the holes for the belt line molding , someone tried to weld the holes shut , I and installing the new molding with all new clips Thanks Jeff

Once you get the belt molding installed and prior to upholstery you should use some sealer around the clips to keep water from getting in behind the upholstery. Regular old "dum dum" strip caulk type sealer will work or use the 3M seam sealer.
