Dimmer Switch Wiring - 41 Truck

I am wrapping up a new wiring harness on my '41 Truck - with the only remaining task is plugging in the dimmer switch. Sometime in the truck's history the wiring harness was replaced with wires of the same color - so I don't have the old harness to use as a reference.

My specific question is what lugs do the wires plug into at the switch ? My harness is a cloth covered replica with the correct colors, but I cannot find a diagram that shows which of the lugs each color plugs into. (I'm still searching ...)

should be center connection for original switch, but with a multimeter should not be too hard to check out

I remember the center lug is fed from the light switch. The hi/low sides won't make any difference since the dimmer just toggles between hi/low.
