I really like my Model A Ford and my 42 Ford sedan and my 47 Ford Coupe. But I really like Fordbarn. I like my grandkids enjoying my former Model T also. This is too sweet, I will not delete!

I'll have a look when I have some time...
I've noticed a lot of users that have been complete jerks in the past have tried to cover their tracks by deleting and editing their posts after my recent focus on cleaning this joint up. As such, this feature is helping me kind of smoke out that people that deserve FULL REFUNDS... |

Isn't that a good thing? Is the focus to have nice "clean" posts or to get rid of people? If the member "sees the light" and has a change of heart, why not?

I've been doing this for 21 years and can count on one hand the number of users that have successfully had a change of heart. My goal is to get rid of people that aren't capable of being decent folks. That don't have the capacity to simply be nice to folks. In my opinion, it's not that hard have decent manners and I'm not asking all that much. I'm not gonna show much mercy for awhile. I'm 100% done running a joint that constantly has these problems. But I should say - if you are here to learn about or teach folks about old Fords and you are not interested in ego, social status, politics, etc... you have nothing to worry about and can effectively ignore me for awhile. Things will be back and way better than normal soon. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Re: Delete
Unless something has changed in the classifieds, the poster of an ad can update the ad by posting a reply and bump it with new info such as sold or price change. Or just let if fall off the page but it still best to update by letting people know its been sold so a year from now someone doesn't ask about it. Considering the number of people that never updated their ad before the change I don't think having the delete or edit will change how people use the classifieds when they sell something.
