Default Ford Battery Identification

I stopped in to our local battery store to buy a new battery for my 1931 Tudor Sedan. I was amazed to find an old Ford Battery on display. But it's not for a Model A - it's too long.

Can anyone tell me what year Ford this battery was used in? It measures 7" wide, 10.5" long and 7" tall.

Does it say, "Series 40" on it ? If so, it is for the 1932 1936 Fords.
