Pick up seat options
Have you replaced your 30/31 pick up seats with bucket seats?
If so, what fits? Thanks |

Re: Pick up seat options
Some use seats out of a Dodge Caravan. Others compress the seat back springs or make a new cushion out of foam.

Re: Pick up seat options
I have Jeep CJ5 seats in my 31 CCPU. They work great.

Thanks Carl,
I am not very familiar with Jeeps, do you know about what year seats you are using? Thanks |

While not bucket seats, I've been told that CJ5 bench seats fit nicely as a replacement for the stock seat. |

Re: Pick up seat options
I have '74 Mazda buckets in my '28 roadster pickup. The main reason is the seat backs are very thin & give you more legroom, plus they're very comfortable. Yes, they've been in there for a very long time.

Re: Pick up seat options
Thanks Ray. That's good to hear ---- I'm all in favor of anything that will give me more room. I would guess that the odds are slim of coming up with a pair of '74 buckets today, but I've got time to search.
