Default AA body building

My AA project is basically a chassis with a commercial cowl and not much more. It came with parts from what looks like an earlier attempt at recreating a huckster body including an all wood windshield frame, two wood door frames with wooden sashes and some of the framing for top, cab and bed. All the wood is weathered from being stored for years, but is solid. There is also hardware for tailgate, box sides and flair-boards. Some of the hardware is original and some reproduced.
I am currently going through the mechanics and have plenty of time to consider options. Initially thought I would go ahead with huckster body but have been recently thinking about other options.
Maybe finding a cab and building a platform? I want to drive this thing and work it some. Wondering what to do.

Maybe if you can post some photos of what you are working with we can make some suggestions. What year?

Everything I see so far says 1930. Engine s/n and Budd wheels dated September 1930.

Nice start David! but I think its all up to your imagination now. I would hunt out old truck body styles and see what you like or what would be most serviceable to your needs and build it from there. Remember most truck body builders were accomplishing custom work for there customers and probably winging it until they hit it on a unit that sold more and probably templating it from there.
Good luck!
