Default Rebuilding H series 6-cylinder

I'm rebuilding the H-series 6-cylinder in my '48 Tudor. Any experts out there that can give me some advice?

A good source for parts is Joblot. The 49-51 Shop Manual has all the step by step procedures and specs for rebuilding the "H" series.

I bought all of my engine rebuild stuff from Kanter (12 years ago). It was all old stock American brands, still in the correct boxes, no import crap.

Hi all; We looked around the truck people and found a M series flathead 6. It is a bigger bore block used in F6 trucks 49-51 only, and it is identical to an H series externally. There is a build for it in the old Clymer books , I believe. Possible 300 inches possible. Newc
