Saturday, July 4, 2015, I'm having a BBQ for all here. I don't care who brings the BBQ, potato salad, baked beans, beer, soda; etc etc, just make sure you arrive in your A/AAs.

I have had my 1929 special coupe for almost 3 years but I had my first 1930 standard coupe from 1963 to 1969.

Had my first "A" in 1959. Had it for a couple of years, was going to fix it up and have some fun with it. It was 1929 pick-up. Ran good, needed paint and some things had to be updated. My wife and I moved and back then, in the early marriage years there were to may "honey-dos" to do and tight on $ 's........I sold it for $150.00.

In the last couple of years and after almost sixty years, I have owned a couple of Model A's. I now have a neat '30 coupe as seen here, in my Avatar.

Bought the Deluxe Delivery in 2005, just a body at the time. Gathered alot of parts in 2006. Project at a basic hault since do to cancer, job loss and other major challanges. Trying to see what I can get done in the next year. Finally found some of the patterns for the wood, which I will make this winter or as far as how ever many patterns I find or can afford the prints for. Next big challange will be repair of the back panel. Rod

My dad bought and gifted me with my 28 Special coupe, in '88, so 26 years for that one. At the same time he bought my brother a 31 pickup. I now have both cars, having purchased the pickup from my brother two years ago. One day, hopefully not too soon, I'll have our my dad's 28 PU, which he got for painting a house in 1959 or so.
This thread has made me think about how long I've owned (and been driving) my coupe, yet how much work still needs to be done on it, and how much I still don't know. Hmm.

My 29 Tudoor for 47 years, the AA30 for 15 and my 30 Roadster pickup for 6 years.

I drove my Model A at Milliken High School in Long Beach, CA in 1960-61. It is a
1930 Deluxe Fordor Sedan, 155-D, Completed a complete body off restoration in
2003. I have owned it for 56 years.

Bought my 30 tudor in 08.Pulled it apart for a total rebuild .May finish it in 15.
