new website , Model A and MG TD
I don't post so much here anymore but read a lot of comments/ advice given by you Guy's The reason for not posting is that I got frustrated with no reply's if I send some a answer on a request via a PM . I think that good manners are gone as the day 's go forward and it seems a sign of the time we live in. But having sad that I DON'T like it Call me a "old Fashioned" old Fart if you will
Model A Ford guy's in the region pressed me a bit to publish the website . Reluctantly I agreed. So here it is. Not only mode A but also a MG TD and give 's an idea about the work I have done on those cars. http://Crestoncars.wordpress.com Cheers Gerard |

If they are not expecting a PM and have never used the function before one can expect a certain amount of non responses.
I just usually post an answer here on the forum. I use the PM feature to ask a question that might be misunderstood by the general readership but rarly have I not received an answer if I was expecting one. Nice pictures on the site!

love the clam shell MG's, I worked on then in the 60's,a basic sport car, not a very powerful engine with a weak crank, I replaced about a dozen of them in the 5 yrs I worked as a mechanic, loved the SU carbs, the only carb I have ever found that you could overhaul with out removing it, and a lousy Lucas electrical system

Frustrated with no reply to an answer? No response to a question might be frustrating but i cannot think of a logical reply to an answer.
(Now that i think about it alot of old ppl think i owe them free hugs & petting just because they looked in my direction, glad i don't live in their generation, that would be creepy. i must have seen 1million girls in my time and none of them ever gave me any free hugs.)

Re: new website , Model A and MG TD
Pete ,
Thanks for the compliments but in fact my son-in-law designed the website . and build it. My contribution was only uploading about 1000 pictures to the Netherlands ( 8 hr job ) and I thank him dearly for his patience Gerard |

"Moisture controlled at 62 %"
Too high. Cars will rust. Needs to be 40% or lower
