Default Because JM35Sedan has an enquiring mind

To answer Johns question:
Chuck, TomT is saying over on the H.A.M.B. that you bought a hot rod while at Bonneville.
P L E A S E tell us about that!! Will we get to see it at the Barner's Tour in PA this September?

Here you go.
This one is definitely not a friend to the Fordbarn. It is a Ford. It is a a Model A of the 2 door sedan variety. It is a brand X (350/350) powered hot rod. The first day of owning it proved it really likes the road. 454 miles down.

Chuck, very cool!! Thanks for the post with picture. A friends son has a model A tudor sedan that looks a lot like yours. It is a very unconventional build with radiator in rear of car, no interior upholstery, open top, etc. There is always a group of people admiring his car at shows. I will post or email some pictures later.

Chuck,
I have a couple 8BA's that would fit just right in that model A. Nothing wrong with a sbc...
they are like bellybuttons, everybody has them, they all can't be wrong. Here's a picture of my model A.

Thanks guys. This one has an unfinished interior. I will be completing that. I really like the snap down top so it will stay. I will post more pictures when I get home as I am not completely used to the iPad way.

Maybe I should do something like this.

Look closely and you will see that is a Chebby in a Lincoln suit. It fooled some but not all.

Ok. Lift the little silver door, insert the proper sized hex key, turn clockwise until the engine sputters then back off 1 turn. The dwell will be close enough. That was one of the Generals better ideas.

Having seen Chuck's new ride up close and personal and we both talked to many who knew the car and the original builder, this is one clean little beast. Since there was no interior we could see all the bodywork with the chop. Could not be cleaner and as Chuck already found out, she's a great over-the-road car. It is really one sweet little ride ....

Now Chuck there's a guy on the HAMB making a simple adapter to bolt a 59A to a Chevy auto .... hmmmmmmm opens up the possibility ....

http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/s...&highlight=59a

Have a blast with the car, Chuck!
