Default wishbone cap

Hi cld some one post a pic of an original wishbone cap? I have a few and there are some differences... thanks very much

Bratton's catalog should show a picture. The originals are thick stamped steel to fit the steel ball.

The later ones use a rubber cover over the ball and have a larger pocket and are thick cast iron.

For 80 years people have been replacing the original Ford Factory cap with aftermarket caps from a great many sources. So very few of today's restored or unrestored, cars have a cap matching the factory issue.

Today you might want to rely on 'the usual suspects' - Bert's in Denver (for an original), Bratton's in Maryland, and Snyders in Ohio, for excellent reproductions.
