Default AA u joint help!

I need the help of all the gurus out there. I'm working on an early 30 AA and at some point in its life a long time ago it lost one of its u joint caps and has been driven ever sine bangin and clangin away. Now I would like to fix this problem but cannot seem to find anyone selling a new AA u joint assembly. So my question is will the A7090 u joint assembly sold fit the AA?

AA's don't need no stinkin' caps!

Don't need no stinkin' grease either!

Haha nice Tom. The one I'm working on has the small circlips to hold the u joint in, or at least its supposed to.

Kinda but not really Bob. This one does not have the circlips that go in the sides of the caps but on the bearing surface of them like a standard A.

That's the right design Rod but the wrong spline count. This one I need is 10 in and 10 out.

Ok, so you have a 3 speed or the longer wheel base truck then. Rod

The a-7090 u-joint is for the model A car, the truck u-joints are not supplied by the vendors, I assume the one you need is between the coupling shaft and the rear drive shaft? and normally is a 10-10 spline joint which you can see in Rowdys pics page 11.
Here is a pic of the 3 I had, the one on the left is the one I think you need, if not post a pic of the one you need.

The AA has 1 1/4" drive line and the BB is 1 3/8". Most of the BB and later u-joints I have
seen have needle bearings.

I will see if it is still here in the shop or if I took it back out at the farm. Looks like will be spending the evening in the shop. As Bob pointed out the size difference I will measure this one to make sure it is not the flathead era U-joint. Rod

Not sure if he is still in business.
Another source is Bert's Model A parts in Co.

I just sold it a month ago with a NOS cross, your best bet would be Berts in Denver, be sure to give them the exact details with a pic if possible.
