Default The truck based woodie hits the screen

My youtube account has not let me in for a few years. Last week I had a client in my cabinet shop that works for facebook and he helped me find an obscure gmail address that I had linked it to. Voila! I can upload again so I decided to finally post up a video. It is quite rough as I was just winging it (duh), but I'm hoping to learn how to edit in the future. Happy new year!

Gary,
Looks like the video is privet. I would guess a setting needs to be clicked over to public?
Regards,
Chris

GB, I’m having trouble pulling it up. I get a black screen.

OK, I see that... I switched it to public but it keeos switching back. There is a caption that states it is 'publishing'. Supposed to go to public after that. It is a bit over seven minutes long and took 15 hours to upload. I can't seem to do anything that's easy. Sheesh.

Private down here in SoCal as well. I'm sure you'll get it sorted. Looking forward to it.

Hey GB, I just watched the video here in Virginia and I thought it was well done! Enjoyed it very much. Thanks for posting it. I think the barn doors fit the character of the vehicle very well.

Good morning Gary, I just watched the video and certainly enjoyed it! I followed the building of the woodie on here but it is nice to see the finished product in action! The comments was turned off on you tube so couldn't leave a comment there.
Regards, Dale

Gary loved the video, glad to see you can post on YouTube again. Is the 2 ton truck the biggest one you own? Some day I would like to have a dump truck just because.

Well the 2 ton is the biggest FH V8 truck I have owned, but over the years I have owned 3 model AA trucks, a '32 BB, a '34 BB, the '37 1 1/2 ton with logs in the video, and a '40 1 1/2 ton that I 'upgraded?' with a 302 . I find discarded trucks and get really excited about fixing it up, but once I get them running and stopping the fun ends for me. I can often be found in front of our supermarket in the spring putting a for sale sign on the windshield. I have been guilty of 'staging' them with a couple hay bales in the bed and maybe a straw hat on the passenger seat for the wife. Oftentimes it's the wife that pushes the sale.

Hello,

The truck based woodie and video looks like you did an awesome job. I like all the little different personal touches. I enjoyed watching, and you live in a very nice part of the Country.

HAPPY NEW YEAR to you and yours as well.

Excellent video, Gary, especially as it is one take and unedited. The truck woody still looks great. Have sent a pm.

Gonna be a fun one for sure. Too bad it's pouring rain because my grandkids could pile in the back as I drive up.

Gary,
Nice video on the woodie! I enjoyed it! I like the window lifts! Kids would love that horn too.
One thing I learned is that you can load your videos much quicker using your phone rather than the computer. Assuming you have a newer type phone?
Regards,
Chri
