eBay, Venmo, PayPal etc is now having to report to irs anything over $600.00 for the year. Doesn’t matter if it’s one sale for $600.00 or 600 sales at $1.00. A 1099 k will be sent to you at the end of the year. This is a major change from the previous year of $20,000.00. Ebay had sent a letter to Nacy Pelosi to reverse but she denied it. It’s actual has something to due with the Covid 19 fund. ( free money is never free). This will hurt a lot of sellers. You can still sell on other sites but accept money orders and/or cash. Bring on the he Swap meets!!!!!

Yep The Gov't wants its Money .
In my case I buy something on Ebay ship it to my forwarding address in California and pay Ca sales tax on it Then ship it to New Zealand and pay New Zealand sales tax on both the item and the postage costs ( Being so far away postage costs are often more expensive than the item !) The forwarding company has an address in Oregon (no sales tax) but shipping times are much longer from there
