Default Generator (inside) wiring

1 short wire from inside of case to ?
2 red wire from field coil to?
3 yellow wire from field coil to?

The original generators had the field ground attached to the housing, other wire to 3rd brush, one brush has short ground wire to end plate, other brush to terminal post

later generator has one field wire connected to 3rd brush, other wire comes out rubber bushing to be used with oval cutout that has voltage regulator, if no regulator it gets attached to ground at cutout screw, other wire coming out rubber bushing goes to brush opposit grounded brush---other end attaches to cutout(power wire)----
