Default Kube

Kube, I have a question on my 1940 ford deluxe grill with a 1 piece center bar that has a small tapped hole (10-32?) at the very end just above the chin pan. What is this for? What is the function of this? or is it a mistake on this repro item??
Thanks George

George, There's a small "brace" that goes on the back side of the chin pan. The screw goes through that and in to the molding.
Note the hole at the top of the chin pan?

Kube, I Never noticed a hole in chin pan, this pan is a repro I am sure. It has just one big slot at the front, maybe someone filled the hole in.
Thanks
George
