Default Model 18 - Spark to plug but not to motor.

need a little help.
Bought brand new plugs & set gap . I used my tester and there is spark to the plug but no spark on the bottom side.
Have you ever heard of that? motor will not crank.
Any suggestions...maybe needs a new condenser?
Thank you

No spark across the tip of the plug? You removed the plug to see that, which broke the circuit from the plug body to the engine. To confirm, simply lay the plug on the engine block metal to metal. It will spark. Remember also, you holding the plug while touching the engine can also prove spark!
