Default New leaf springs for the Model A ?

My front spring is tired and sagged.

I thought there was a vendor up in New England who specialized in Model A springs, but I can't seem to find his website...

Any suggestions for a new, stock front spring? ('28 Coupe ).

Thanks !

Luke and Special Coupe Frank: That's the site, advertises in Hemming's. Also might try Posie's super slide springs.

Little Dearborn in Minneapolis has front springs for $99. I live fairly close to them, so as to save shipping on a heavy part, I was considering buying one from them. I want a spring that works and looks like the original spring. I have 2 original front springs, but they are badly rust pitted on the edges. Has anyone bought a front spring from them? Good quality, looks like an original?? I called them and they said they have them made locally (in Minnesota) which surprised me as most Model A stuff is made in China (no comment on the quality - but I think you know what I mean!!). It appears that the springs from the manufacture in the link above are also made in the US, but are over 50% more in cost and a long way for shipping$$. Any comments would be appreciated

While for several years I have been a user of the springs mentioned above by Rusty, they are not without needing massaging to be installed correctly. Also one needs to add aditional items to make their spring complete. Snyders has just introduced a new spring that I am really happy with that does not require doing the things I mentioned above. Jus' saying.

Just around 100. The car is still at my brothers 40 miles away. Just getting to drive/ piddle with on saturdays. Just got insurance so the car is coming home to my house this weekend. It has been Model A driving weather in Alabama. I'm assuming also in TN. THanks for the information.

Brent,
I just sent you a PM about the Little Dearborn front springs. I would appreciate it if you could elaborate on what needs to be done to the spring to make it correct. I know it would need bushings (no problem) and the two clips (also no problem).
Thanks,
Rusty Nelson
