I am wondering if anyone repops the tail light spears on the quarters of a '51 Tudor? I am in the process of checking with all the usual suppliers, no luck so far. On my first '51 I did get a pair from someone, but am preparing to remove my originals and send out to rechrome if no luck.

No one reproduces them that I'm aware of.

They were the first thing I took off of my first '51 in 1959 and the last thing I found for my current car in 1989.

Since they are the same on all body types, they are around and you should be able to find some. Depending on the quality of the car, a re-plate job may be the way to go.

Did you try "Shoebox Central"? That, watching eBay, and wanted ads here and on the H.A.M.B. have usually worked for me.

I bought a repop pair on ebay about 15 years ago from Classic Auto Parts, but can't find any on them now. Midwest Early Ford also listed them in their 2015 catalog, but no more.

I would contact Shoebox Central as stated above, or just get your pair re-plated.

Thanks guys for the responses,...on a Sunday after Thanksgiving to boot

. Oh believe me I have quite a Wish List going at Shoebox Central, but no new spears, haven't asked about used as I have a pair of those. As I am converting this car from 6 cyl to what I hope will be a "nice" flathead 8, I have already acquired some very needed parts from folks here, and from that auction site. Will continue looking!
