Default 34 Pickup

Looking at maybe buying A 1934 Pickup has no frame. What year frames would work? Have a nice flathead to install.
Thanks George

1933 and 1934 Ford passenger cars and small trucks (pickups) used the same basic frame pieces but some of the holes to mount running boards, fenders and such are different and/or not present. A fairly common switch that is done quite often to get another one back on the road.

The PU frame is exposed between the body and running boards so if you get a car frame, it will not look right if it is pitted in that area.

Pitting is common for many parts on these old Fords. Repairing/filling is required everywhere on many of these old cars so frame may be no different. Many of the pickup frames were greatly overloaded and suffered cracks and tears also. Original frames are hard to find so you may have to grab what you can find and repair/upgrade to work for you.
