wide 5 hubcaps 1936-1939
I know they are two piece. I got a set that from the inside there one piece. on the outside I feel a lip with my finger nail and I can see it looks like it snaps on. my question is, is the whole cap one piece, and then the v8 outside piece just a snap on cover over a one piece cap?

Authentic caps were two pieces. The stainless piece was pressed over the metal cap.
To remove the stainless piece, drill a small hole through the back of the metal part, being careful not to go through the stainless cover. Apply compressed air through the hole while the stainless cap lays face down in a towel.

Re: wide 5 hubcaps 1936-1939
thanks Kube, I got original ones then. because theres a dent on the inside, but its not on the outside where the stainless V8 is. and I can feel the ridge on the V8 stainless were it goes on the full one piece cap. so from the inside its a full one piece cap, and the V8 stainless is an outter cover. thank u for ur knowledge. JAN is that the years they fit?
