Default Salvage yards in Colorado

Any suggestions, for salvage yards in Colorado, for a 52' Mercury or Ford?

Check around the Denver area and also call Bert's Model A Shop in the Denver area as they may know of some yards with early cars.

You could try Doug at Rocky Mt. Relics in WIndsor CO. He is at Hershey every year, but he tends to have older iron.

I knows them well. Many of the parts on my car came from there, to include the new engine block, and I need to get back up there again.

There was a place in Greeley that advertised in Hemmings. I made a special trip there for which I found nothing worthy of advertising, and lost my bearings trying to get the hell out and back on the road. What I did find after driving in circles was some damn good mountain oysters and beer, and eventually found the highway the next morning!

The mountains are always worth the trip. It is 5 degrees this morning, so I am waiting for a little warmer day in Spring. I love walking through a salvage yard on a nice day. I was hoping that someone had found a few around Colorado Springs, since I haven't tried any down there.

I have bought parts from Martin Supply in the past but a friend who lives in Loveland said Chuck Martin had sold out and they crushed the old stuff!

I was afraid that would happen.
