Default Need help determining what cars are in these two period pictures?

A friend shared some family pictures from when he was a young boy.
These two pictures were taken in Canada, in the late 1930s or early 1940s.
Both cars appear to have wooden spoke wheels.

The car, covered with snow almost looks like a 29 Ford tudor, but the rear window might be too large and the car has wooden spoke wheels. Did Canada make wooden spoke Model A wheels?

The other car does not appear to be a Ford.

Please share what you think they are?
