Looking to see if anyone can help me out with this mount ? Is pretty clear the part number , it’s in a custom application but I need new mounts the number , on the mount is KC-6038-A and then under those letters and numbers there -AW 6 with the ford logo , any help identifying the application for this mount so I can replace them would be greatly appreciated.

Summit Racing has the Bob Drake motor mount cushions in stock. 78-6038-K is what they list them as.

Can you post a picture of the KC-6038-A, maybe we can

Since 6038 was a basic number then different prefix or suffix can designate a design change. A photo, a good illustration, or knowing what it fit would be the only way to identify which of many it might be. It may be aftermarket or it may be something else. Most aftermarket parts suppliers had their own numbering system. KC is not a common prefix for a biscuit or dougnut type mount. The C by itself has been a prefix for commercial vehicles or pickups but the K is not a common Ford prefix.

The Fords of the flathead V8 era used at least three different types. There was early and late Ford types. The types used in Mercury and Lincoln cars from 1949 thru 1951 were different. They were used again in the Y-block era for 6-cylinder applications. These are all biscuit types. The 49 up Ford and early 1949 Mercury types changed and were not biscuit types. Pickups has biscuit types that were the more common late Ford type till 1953 for V8s. The Ford 6-cylinder equipped cars and trucks with G & H series engines had different mounts altogether.

My question to the OP is what is it going to be used on such as the type of frame or engine? Type of water pump on early and late flathead V8 engines is also a concern.
