1929 Tudor Sedan. Washington Blue?
I inherited a 29 2 Tudor sedan that my great-grandfather bought new. My father, now 97, remembers riding in it as a little boy and swears it was Washington blue. I do not see that color listed anywhere for 29. Was it Andalusite blue?

Andalusite blue is a vary dark blue also used into early 1930 ,had a 30 Standard roadster that color. The reveals would be Niagara light blue with French Gray when new, with black belt and molding, on a 29 Tudor.

Photo from the Model A Paint Guide. Two different variations of Andalusite Blue depending on when your car was built in 29.
A photo of your car would be interesting to all of us. Original cars with original point is always a treat. Great family heirloom you have there. |

Someone said try to get a camera way up behind the gas tank there may be some original paint there.
It also may have been repainted by the time your dad rode in it. |

I'll try to get a couple pictures before it takes it's winter nap. |
