Question Ford Model A OIL Filterkit A 7605

Hi Model A specialists
I have since two month a model a roadster pickup of 1929 with the original engine. There i a Filterkit mounted from MACs. Part #: 28-24062-1
Its mounted to the timing gear cover. Does anyone know how does it work?

The copper line goes to the high pessure connected to the the oilpump where also the oil pressure gauge has to be connected.
But what happens with the pressure trough the Filter? Is there a pressure relief valve mounted in the filter? And if yes what max. pressure is installed?
if yes then makes a prssure Guge on same connector sense?

Macs doesnt answer this question.

kindly regards Robert

First go to Mac's and view this part, then click on more views, you can clearly see they made a mistake. On side of block where you have oil pressure gage, it will require a tee. After oil goes through filter it will be dumped into the timing gear housing. This kit will only filter a very small amount of the oil because the main oil supply discharge tube in the front of the valve galley is still wide open to supply oil to all 3 main bearings.
Other kits will capture most all of the oil because they have a tube that inserts into the main oil supply discharge in the front of valve galley, after the filter, it dumps the oil back to the 3 main bearings.
hope this helps
