Re: Good luck & Safe wishes
Rock, my sister is in Gainesville, looks like the storm is making a turn and heading for Orlando. How is the surf at Jacksonville Beach? Good luck.

Daughter has a house in Marco Island. And hoping our pump and coil guru in Punta Gorda will be safe and possibly evacuated!!
Heard on the Weather Channel that the last storm of this magnitude to hit this part of FL was in 1921!! |

My daughter is ALSO in Gainesville....I think they will miss the full brunt of the storm there. The surf here is 2-4 blown out Northeaster type waves. Last week or so it was pretty good around here with Fiona passing way off shore, pumped out some nice swells for about 3-4 Days!!!! Good consistent chest high with slightly hire sets!! |

Sure hope all Floridians 'in the path" fare well. We in southern FL were lucky.

I know 2 familys in Punta Gorda .
No power and trees-power lines down all over but they are unhurt. Plenty property damage though. |
