Dumb question #11,433.75
Is the rear bushing in a generator the same for all generators? I know the front of the shafts where the pulley mounts vary quite a bit, but the bushings/bearings at the rear?? (You can no doubt tell from this question that I am losing whatever I may have had in the past.)

Two brush. And, while we are at it, what is the difference, of any, between 60HP and 85HP generators? Pulley size?

Re: Dumb question #11,433.75
Your not going to find just the rear bushing in Ford chassis parts books. Ford offered the bushing as part of the entire rear plate assembly which is in the books. Suppliers do offer a replacement bushing. There are at least two different sizes of the bushing which can be purchased through suppliers. The early generators have a smaller bushing and the later have the larger. I am not sure if this happened with the change to 2 brush. If you look through the chassis parts books at the various generators or their pulleys, used on different models, you will find the answer to your 60HP question.
