You are missing the "cup washer" (don't know official name for the metal cup that sits in the firewall insulation and allows you to tighten the stud down on the right). Stud also needs a nut obviously.

For the left, the cover is bolted to the firewall and it holds the throttle in place and keeps the shaft taught from the spring action.

I also believe the one in your picture is for a 4 cyl.

Hope this helps, not sure this is 100% complete but shows the cup washer, and stud mount you are for sure missing!!!

Are you missing the fact that your is for a 4 cylinder engine. The one in Post 4 is correct for the V8.

Hence the difference in the length and different angle for the accelerator rod to the carburetor

Yes mine is a 4 banger, I have the cup that goes inside just wasn't sure about the left cover

You have everything that you need. Your photo sort of hides the threaded stud on the right side which passes through the firewall, insulator, cup washer before being secured with a hex nut and lock washer. A second pair of hands will make the installation a lot easier.
