I had a old friend named 'Red". Red never went anywhere fast.
Fastest I can remember was on the straights him doing 45mph.
When someone would "Fly" past Red....in his slow...monotone voice say...
"Go ahead on her buddy...Hell aint half full!"
When one of those souped up Honda Civics goes flying around me I
still remember Red...and..."Go ahead on her Buddy...Hell aint half full!"
Still brings a smile to my face every time!

Reminds me of my dad when we'd be out in public, we kids being in the backseat and come to a red light, we'd see if anyone was in front of us and if there was, we'd look at each other anticipating what was to come when the light turned green and most of the time...it did!!! Light would turn green and after a few seconds....."Well!!! Either shit or get off the pot"
I miss my dad....................
